OUR
MINISTRIES

At Glen Elm Church of Christ, we believe that ministry is at the heart of our mission to share God’s love and serve our community. Our ministries are designed to meet the diverse needs of our congregation and the broader community, offering opportunities to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and make a difference in the lives of others. Whether you're seeking spiritual growth, a place to belong, or a way to serve, there's a ministry for you.

Youth Group

If you are in grades 7 to 12, we invite you to join our Youth Group!

Between the months of September and June, we meet in the Youth Room every Thursday evening (from 7 to 8:30 pm) and Sunday morning (during the sermon time).

If you have questions related to youth group, please contact:  youth@warmwelcome.ca

Men's Ministry

As daily life is busy, we need to be intentional in living with the gospel as first priority and building relationships to strengthen and support each other on a regular basis. As a group we plan on meeting at the church building every other Wednesday for an hour and half to discuss different questions such as, but not limited to family, friends, spiritual gifting, Christian life, finances, and work. We will also have 2-3 questions to pray over, think about and research in the Bible to discuss the next time we meet. Contact Tim W. for more information.

FriendSpeak

FriendSpeak trains and equips churches to reach out to our international neighbours with English, friendship, and the Word of God.

English speakers are paired up with an international neighbour to practice conversational English, guided by the book of Luke. This program runs from September to June on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 plus fun group gatherings (such as curling, barbecues) and celebrations (Thanksgiving, Chinese New Year) throughout the year.

If you are interested to be part of FriendSpeak, as either helper or participant, or if you have questions, please contact our office.

Children's Ministry

During the school year, we feature Sunday morning classes for kids and teens. We worship and take communion as families, dismissing the kids to a class about midway through our assembly.

Weekly: Children Gr. 6 and under should be registered at the sign-in station on the tablets provided in the foyer and have your child's name tag on them to make it easier for teachers. A "pick-up tag" will print out for parents  to pick-up their kids after class is over. Click Below to register your child.

If you require further information about our Sunday School programs, please contact us.
